An advanced Whimmy Diddler can make it stop and change directions. Some people claim to make it change directions just by thinkin' it. Instructions for makin' more are in Thangs Yankees Don Know. You can even make a double Whimmy Diddle with a forked stick. Now-That's talent!

Laugh along with us at Southern Life !

Learn to cook Southern Specialties like Goat and Okra - or Deep Fried Snipe. Order a Car-be-cue. Or if you feel like singin' along with The Old School CD - you'll find the words. Are you ready for some clogging lessons? This side splittin' booklet will show you the way.

You'll learn about real Southern Cookin' from us. A lot of Southern Cookbooks are mostly lies and them recipes won't work. They jest print them to sell to tourists who don't know no better. Course a lot of our recipes are older than the written word and have been passed down through the generations. Great Southern cooks don't use recipes - they bake a cake or fix possum fritters and never use a measuring cup or spoon (WARNING! don't try this at home ).

We'll cook up all kinds of critters. If it's moving we'll catch it, skin it and get it in the pot. C'mon now and we'll teach ya how!
